Services & Pricing
All services in the DATS Lab are offered to students and faculty in the AESHM department, all colleges at ISU, and the public for personal and class projects.
Payment Details
- All users, including undergraduates, graduates, and faculty, are responsible for the associated costs of their projects, as outlined in the service price chart. Invoices for your work will be provided accordingly.
- Charges will be based on the type of work and project size. Refer to the price chart for more details.
Faculty
- If faculty members intend to cover the costs of services for their students’ work using the appropriate worktag (course, research, or grant), we kindly request that you reach out to the DATS Lab (dats@iastate.edu).
- Please provide the details (e.g., your course or project name, the associated worktag number, and a list of participating students).
** Sharing the list of students’ names will facilitate the process of generating a consolidated invoice for your class.
Student
- It’s essential to confirm with the instructor whether the class will cover the cost of services.
- If your project falls under class-related tasks, you should ask the instructor regarding payment.
- For personal use of any service, students can conveniently pay the specified price via U-bill or credit/debit card, referencing the chart of service prices.
- Accepted payment methods: U-bill, worktag (course, research, or grant), or credit/debit card.
** Cash payments will NOT be accepted.

Monday: 10 am – 7 pm
Tuesday: 9 am – 6 pm
Wednesday: 9 am – 6 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
Friday: 10 am – 4 pm
