Equipment and Technolgy

The Digital Apparel and Textiles Studio houses equipment to create both printed yardage and engineered prints for apparel from computer illustrations and photographic images. Users can incorporate digitally printed textiles into their projects and take advantage of this exciting technology.

Types of Equipment


Mimaki TX300P-1800

The 8-color Mimaki printer allows the printing of photorealistic images on textiles with no limit to the range of colors possible. Fabrics that we offer include various cottons, silks, viscose, and linen.


HP DesignJet Z3200ps

The HP Plotter Printer is a professional-grade large-format inkjet printer known for its exceptional print quality and color accuracy with an infinite color range, versatile media handling, and advanced color calibration technology for producing high-quality prints up to 36 inches wide.


Melco EMT 16X Embroidery Machine

A 16-needle commercial embroidery machine that features high-speed stitching of up to 1500 stitches per minute, patented thread control technology, and automatic tension adjustments. The machine operates with precise laser registration of designs and also allows for easy hat and pocket embroidery.


Speedy 400 Laser Cutter byTrotec USA

The high-efficiency laser cutter has a maximum engraving speed of 4.2 m/s and laser power of up to 250 Watts. The machine has a variety of features that allow for clean lines in cutting and ergonomic and user-friendly design choices.

Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
Friday: 10 am – 4 pm
