Surface Design Association published a story on May 27 detailing the impact of Ruth E. Carter’s visit to Iowa State and how her lecture inspired students, faculty, and staff. Carter, the Academy Award winning costume designer for Marvel’s “Black Panther,” visited the College of Health and Human Sciences and the Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management as part of the Helen LeBaron Hilton Endowed Chair lecture series on October 9, 2018.
