Grace Rosson (AMD ’19)
Grace Rosson (AMD ‘19) is a Category Manager for Crocs. During the Spring 2023 semester, Rosson visited campus and spoke to AMD classes about her role at Crocs and had students participate in focus groups for the company.
Rosson emphasized with students that Iowa State prepared her for her career, whether it be through internships or landing her current role at Crocs. She also shared how getting an education at Iowa State can set you apart from others in her career field.
“Whenever I tell people that I’m from Iowa and I went to Iowa State, I think I kind of get seen as an underdog. But anyone that has worked with someone that went to Iowa State or is from the Midwest, they always say that we have a really great work ethic,” said Rosson.
Iowa State continues to give students a wide array of resources to create vast potential for success. The Apparel, Merchandising, and Design department has proven to launch students’ careers from the get-go.
“I graduated three years ago, coming back and seeing the Innovation Center.”
Rosson said, “and having the opportunity and the resources for students to have best-in-class technology in a state-of-the-art building will only help them further their career quicker.”
Rosson was able to show current AMD students how the atmosphere, opportunities, and education at Iowa State University provides its students is nothing short of incredible and something worth experiencing.
