The Textiles and Clothing Museum (TCM) is a unique and irreplaceable record of material culture and history. The collection comprises over 9,000 objects including flat textiles, clothing, accessories, and other fashion-related items of regional and global significance collected from across time periods. The TCM includes the Mary Alice Gallery, the Donna R. Danielson Conservation Laboratory, the Edward and Bertha Waldee Storage Facility, and a new storage facility currently under construction. All facilities are housed across Morrill and LeBaron Halls. The TCM is a teaching collection which means that its principal focus is on supporting undergraduate and graduate students at Iowa State University in their education.
