Responsibilities

My responsibilities are: to arrange dresses by designer and explain designers to the brides, provide personalized customer service for each bride, and prepare gowns when they arrive at the store to put on display. I change up the window displays as well as keep the store clean and tidy for each appointment.

Accomplishments

I had the opportunity to do alterations for the mother of the groom. I made a custom shawl to match her dress, hemmed the dress to her correct length and attached a belt to the waistband of the dress.

Learning experience

My greatest lesson is learning how to improve my communication skills which helps me assist others to the best of my ability.

What advice would you give?

Everything happens for a reason. During this pandemic, it was hard to see that and it took some time to figure out the next step but in the end, everything works out for the best and there is always something to learn from the experience.
