Responsibilities

My responsibilities during my internship was to meet with the bride and groom, give tours to customers of the venue, and I was also the intern event coordinator.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was decorating for a reception and the reward of seeing the brides envision come to life.

Learning experience

Some of the greatest lessons I learned from my experience at the Stables at Copper ridge was to always stay positive. When you stay positive you have a positive outlook on everything and being at The Stables every weekend made it a lot more fun when you work with positive people.

What advice would you give?

Advice I have for future students in Event Management is to go outside your comfort zone. I never thought I would get an internship by direct messaging a company on Instagram. The experiences are worth it, especially for your future.
