Responsibilities

My responsibilities for this specific internship included sewing muslin samples (mockups), sewing final costumes, dying fabric, beading, organizing, buying/swatching fabrics and anything else that needed doing to ensure everything was running smoothly.

Accomplishments

I got to see first hand how garments for broadway and film were designed, fitted and created while learning so much about construction during my time with Winterling. I was most proud of the fact that I was trusted to work on important garments such as a caftan for Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

What advice would you give?

Take any and all opportunities you can get and do all tasks with positivity. Negativity gets you nowhere.
