Just some of the responsibilities for this internship include assisting in communications around events, answering phone calls, assisting with keeping social media current and active. As well as other tasks that the supervisors may ask us to complete.

So far, I would say that the greatest accomplishment from this experience is to see the final event space set up and people enjoying the space they are in after a long week of planning and setting up and preparing for the big day. It really is such a rewarding feeling and I love seeing how diverse each event is from one another each week.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I have learned thus far is that success and credibility really do come with time. You cannot build up your reputation and get your companies name out over time. You have to work really hard and put in so much time to get your company really established and the work environment you want created.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students is to try not to be nervous about your internship. It is okay to be nervous at first but you are here to learn and ask questions and your supervisors know that and they also are willing to teach you things. Don't be scared to ask for help!
