My greatest accomplishment so far has been planning and executing our summer pool party for our residents and their guests. It was a successful day of lots of swimming, food to eat, games to play, and music to listen to. We went to great lengths to set up a summer themed event for people to grill out and take a dip in the pool.
The greatest lesson I have learned so far is to be patient and to use my mistakes as lessons. Working at an apartment complex with 1,200 residents, it takes lots of patience in order to make everyone happy and plan events that everyone can enjoy. I also learned that there will be mistakes made down the road but you should always use those as learning lessons in the future so that there is only room for improvement.
What advice would you give?
My biggest advice is to go big and reach as far as you can. There is so much potential in this major and we can all achieve great things if you work hard for it and are passionate about what you do.
