Student analytics

Canvas’ student analytics tool provides both an overview, and more detailed report, of how each student is doing in your course in terms of graded work and which content they are viewing. Get to a specific student’s report by clicking their name in the New Analytics screen. To view the student’s progress on assignments, click the snowman icon (3 vertical dots) and select ‘Data Table’. To see a summary of what content and activities they visited by week, click the Weekly Online Activity link, then click one of the week starting date links. For a more detailed report of when the student visited each course component, including the time they submitted assignments, click People > select student’s name > on their tray, click the student’s name again > click Access Report.
