Des Moines Register features new Southridge boutique by Iowa State alumna Claire Kranto: The Des Moines Register on Monday featured Ark-Vayo, Iowa State alumna Claire Kranto’s new African clothing, shoes and accessories store at Southridge Mall in Des Moines. Kranto, 24, began designing African clothing after an internship with a fair trade company in Ghana. She graduated from Iowa State in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in apparel, merchandising, and design.
