Five ISU students win YMA Fashion Scholarships for 2008-2009
The Department of Apparel, Educational Studies, and Hospitality Management announced that five juniors in the Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Production program have been awarded the prestigious YMA Fashion Scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year. The students are: Francesca Skwark, Mandy Meyer, Danielle Sponder, Iman El Khatib, And Allison Ledger. In addition to the generous $5000 scholarship each will receive, these students gain access to excellent internships in the fashion industry, and a trip to the Annual Geoffrey Beene YMA Scholar Recognition Gala held each January in New York City.
